My name is Astrid Nielsen Boyd, and I am sixteen years old. I am a visual artist, and my favorite media are ink, oil paint, black and white film, and pencil. I have been creating art my whole life. I have experimented with landscapes, people, animals, water, abstract art, and more.  Several years ago I was fascinated with hyper-realism, but now I like to create images that are obscure and use a lot of symbolism. My goal is to let the viewer interpret the piece as they will, and to induce thought, no matter what I was thinking while I was creating the piece. Welcome to my website! I hope you enjoy.
